Ron is Executive Administrator and Service Consultant for the family-run company. He handles the day-to-day running of the business. Ron relocated his family from Florida to start Hillman Automotive & Tire with his brother. He knew that with his experience in the automotive industry and his fiscal leadership, he would be able to run the daily finances of an automotive repair shop and it grow into a successful business.
David handles all of the automotive management of the facility. An Automotive Expert with over three decades of experience, David is an ASE certified Master Tech as well as Certified. Before starting the business, David had his own side business repairing automobiles, while he worked daily at Niagara County Fleet Maintenance. He left both behind when he and Ron started the family business. David has a vast knowledge of vehicle repair, working as a teenager with cars and trucks for local garages. For a couple of years, he even worked with Ron in Florida, until moving his family back to Lockport in 1995. David's experience ranges from imports to domestic automobiles, and with that experience, along with a natural ability to diagnose an automotive problem; he has gained a loyal following.
Ron's wife Sharon is a Florida native who went to nursing school right after high school. She worked as nurse until her second child was born and then went into business with Ron in 1997 while still in Florida. They moved the family to Lockport in the summer of 2000 to open Hillman Automotive & Tire. Sharon, Ron and their three kids reside in Lockport.
The daughter of Hillman brother David, she is responsible for the parts department. In addition to managing the parts department, she operates the courtesy shuttle which provides our customers with the convenience of transportation to and from our shop.
Ron Jr. is the oldest son of owner Ron Hillman Sr. Ron is back with the family business after two years working in NASCAR. He will be working as a multi-purpose employee, assisting in all aspects of the business.
Deni is a Lockport resident who has been in the automotive sales and service industry for over three decades. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Hillman.
Rick has been in the automobile repair industry for over 30 years, spending a decade working on RVs. He is the Collision and RV manager, specializing in RV collision. A Kenmore native, Rick is married and lives in Lockport.
Rick resides in Lockport and began working at Hillman Automotive in 2015. Rick drives tow truck as well as working in the collision shop.
Diagnostician, Automotive Electrical Expert, and Performance Expert. Bill has been with Hillman Automotive since July of 2001. Bill is a Lockport native and he still lives here with his family.
Brian resides in Lockport, he has 10 years of experience and is a certified New York State inspector including heavy duty machinery.
Peter received a degree in Automotive and Diesel Technology from the University of Northwestern Ohio and joined the Hillman Automotive team in January of 2017.
Travis is a tow truck operator, lube tech, NY State inspector, and tire installer. He has 8 years experience in the automotive industry. Travis started working with us in 2019 and has two small children.
Greg is a tow truck operator, lube tech, and tire installer. He has been with Hillman Automotive since 2019.
John is an ASE certified technician. He has over 35 years experience working on and repairing cars. John lives in the Wilson area.
Brian and Luke are the sons of brothers Ron and David Hillman. They came to work in the family business during the COVID-19 outbreak to help out with oil changes and tire installation
Kyle came to work for the Hillman Automotive team as a Collision Tech back in August 2020. He works alongside Rick in our body shop and is excited to learn about the industry.
Taylor has worked for small businesses & multi-national organizations for several years, bringing with him leadership and knowledge of several industries. Along with Marketing & Logistics, Taylor is also a tow truck operator and is a Lockport native. He joined our team in September 2020.
